Judge Denies Gillette's Request for Injunction Vs. Schick

Law360 (January 16, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Gillette was dealt a setback in its patent suit against competitor Energizer Holdings on Thursday, when a federal district judge denied Gillette's motion for preliminary injunction against Energizer unit Schick-Wilkinson Sword’s four-bladed razor.

Judge Patti Saris of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts determined that Gillette had “no reasonable likelihood of success” on the claim of literal infringement.
