Johnson & Johnson In-House Counsel Joins Lovells

Law360, New York (December 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- International business law firm Lovells LLP said Thursday it has hired attorney Kevin Townsend, Johnson & Johnson's senior in-house counsel, to join its intellectual property practice as a life sciences partner.

Townsend, who has advanced degrees in biology and biochemistry, worked at Eli Lilly and Co. in recent years before joining Johnson & Johnson. At both companies, Townsend managed patent issues for major products in development.
