Retailers, Advocates Raise Battle Cry Post-Leegin

Law360 (December 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A coalition of retailers, academics and consumer advocates is calling on lawmakers and regulators to take action in the wake of a Supreme Court decision last year that gave manufacturers the power to set a minimum price its retailers must charge, arguing that the ruling has led to higher prices for consumers and puts added pressure on discounters in an already tough economic climate.
