Fired Roche Worker Files Sexual Harassment Suit

Law360, New York (December 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former Roche Laboratories Inc. employee has launched a lawsuit against the pharmaceutical company, claiming she was sexually harassed and eventually fired after she refused to market unapproved, off-label uses for an anti-fungal medication.

Carolyn Gleason, a medical center representative, claims that her supervisor directed her to aggressively advertise the drug Mycamine in 100 mg doses as a treatment for candidemia, a fungal infection in the blood.
