Dow, Pharmacia Deny Liability For Superfund Site

Law360 (December 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two manufacturers of a wood-treating chemical that regulators found at a Minnesota Superfund site have asked a judge to drop product liability claims brought against them by local residents.

On Friday, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, Dow Chemical Co. and Pharmacia Corp. (formerly Monsanto) moved for summary judgment on the charges, related to the St. Regis Co. Superfund site in Cass Lake, Minn.
