Walgreen Recalls Teddy Bears For Melamine Risk

Law360, New York (December 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Walgreen Co. has recalled a batch of teddy bears from its drugstores due to a possible melamine contamination in the chocolate bars that accompany the toys.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Walgreen jointly issued a voluntary recall for 173 “Dressy Teddy Bear With Chocolate” stuffed bears on Friday after the FDA found melamine in certain samples of the chocolate provided with the bears.
