Foley & Lardner Scores Ex-FINRA Counsel Wallace

Law360, New York (December 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- As the nation's financial crisis spurs new securities regulations, Foley & Lardner LLP has hired Richard G. Wallace — the former chief counsel at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority's market regulation department — as a partner in the firm's Washington securities practice.

Wallace will work in the firm's securities enforcement and litigation and securities, commodities and exchange regulation practices, where he will counsel clients on new securities regulations that he said will likely be enacted in light of recent market troubles.
