Hospira Recalls Potassium Chloride Over Mislabeling

Law360, New York (December 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Hospira Inc. has issued a nationwide recall of its potassium chloride injection because some containers were found to be mislabeled with the bar code for another drug.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced on its Web site Monday that Hospira had issued the recall, which affects one lot of the drug shipped between July and September. A small number of the containers were incorrectly labeled with the bar code for dextrose injection.
