Both Parties Win Some In 'One Click' Markman Order

Law360 (December 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has largely adopted Cordance Corp.'s and Amazon.com Inc.'s proposed constructions of their own respective patents in a dispute between the two companies over online purchasing technology.

Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Delaware on Friday adopted Cordance's proposed construction of nine of the 15 disputed terms of patents Cordance is asserting against Amazon, Amazon's construction of four terms and her own construction of two terms.
