Court Keeps 3 Claims Alive In Firestone Tire Suit

Law360 (December 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has agreed to toss two warranty claims, but will keep in play three other counts for strict liability and negligence in a suit that accuses Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. of manufacturing a faulty tire that caused a fatal car accident.

U.S. District Judge David G. Campbell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona signed an order Friday dismissing plaintiff Jennell D. Andrews' breach of implied warranty claims from the lawsuit.
