Purina Should Eat Its Words In Chow Suit, Blue Buffalo Says

By Cara Salvatore (May 13, 2016, 8:38 PM EDT) -- Pet food maker Blue Buffalo, bristling at a false advertising suit from rival Purina over adulterated chicken meal in its products, now says Purina was a victim of the same bad supplier and had the same issue with its own merchandise.

Blue Buffalo on Thursday asked for a chance to amend counterclaims against Purina to reflect the new information, which it said came to light in a January deposition.
