Law360, New York (December 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Pharmaceutical company Orion Corp. shot off a lawsuit Monday in an effort to stop Wockhardt Ltd. from marketing a generic version of Stalevo, a treatment for Parkinson's disease, the latest in a number of suits Orion has filed to protect patents related to Stalevo and another Parkinson's drug, Comtan.
The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, accuses Wockhardt and a U.S. subsidiary of infringing three patents that cover the drug.
