Chocolatiers Battle To Get Antitrust Cases Tossed

Law360 (December 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Almost a year after a U.S. Justice Department probe into potential price-fixing in the chocolate industry was uncovered, four chocolate companies are engaged in a battle to get a growing consolidated class action pending in Pennsylvania federal court dismissed.

Dozens of cases were filed in the wake of the Wall Street Journal reporting and the disclosure a month earlier that a probe by Canadian regulators into the chocolate industry was underway.
