Judge Pares Down Claims In RICO Suit V. FedEx

Law360 (December 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The federal judge overseeing a case accusing Federal Express Corp. of running afoul of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and Pennsylvania state law by failing to pay couriers for all the time they worked has granted FedEx summary judgment on the plaintiffs' Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act Claim.

Judge Thomas I. Vanaskie of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania signed off Wednesday on an order granting FedEx's Feb. 22 summary judgment bid.
