9th Circ. Sides With US In Water Quality Suit

Law360 (December 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Clean Water Act doesn't apply to nonpoint sources of pollution such as feces from livestock, a federal appeals court has ruled, upholding a lower court judgment for the U.S. Forest Service in a spat over grazing permits in an Oregon national forest.
