Lawyer Sues Thomson Over Bar-Exam Materials

Law360, New York (August 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The antitrust conundrum over legal bar-exam preparation courses in the United States has expanded once again with a new lawsuit against The Thomson Corp., a business services company accused of ripping off aspiring lawyers.

As with previous antitrust lawsuits against Thomson, the plaintiffs have accused the company of a civil conspiracy to tie its state-specific bar preparation material to its multi-state bar preparation material.
