BAA Told To Sell 1 Airport In Edinburgh, 2 In London

Law360, New York (December 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- BAA Ltd. will be required to sell Gatwick and Stansted airports in London and Edinburgh Airport in Scotland in order to loosen the company's perceived stranglehold on the United Kingdom airport network.

The U.K. Competition Commission said Wednesday it would consider responses to its provisional decision before publishing its final report in late February or early March recommending the divestitures.
