Microsoft, RIM Sued Over Internet Security Patent

Law360 (December 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An Internet security technology management and licensing company has slapped Research In Motion Ltd. and Microsoft Corp. with a lawsuit accusing them of infringing a patent related to controlling access to protected computer resources provided over the Internet.

Prism Technologies LLC filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska on Monday, seeking unspecified damages and injunctive relief.
