Injunction Affirmed In Stryker Screw Patent Case

Law360 (December 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A U.S. appeals court has upheld an injunction barring Stryker Corp. from selling screws used to treat upper arm fractures that Acumed LLC claims infringe its patent, ending the long-standing patent spat.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed a judgment from the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon prohibiting Stryker from selling its T2 proximal humeral nail screws on Tuesday.
