PT Options On Rise At Firms, But Few Takers: Study

Law360, New York (December 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- These days, nearly all law firms offer part-time schedules in order to accommodate their top talent. But a mere handful of attorneys actually embrace the alternative arrangement, according to a new survey from the National Association for Law Placement.

The NALP analysis, released in December as part of the organization's annual Directory of Legal Employers, also found that the vast majority of attorneys who do opt for a part-time schedule are female.
