Phosphates Maker Cleared In DOJ Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (December 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has dropped its grand jury investigation of Innophos Holdings Inc. on suspicion of anti-competitive behavior in the sodium tripolyphosphate industry, the phosphates manufacturer announced.

Innophos received word from the DOJ’s Antitrust Division that it would no longer be required to preserve documents listed in a subpoena the government issued over a year ago, the company said last week.
