EU Won't Mediate In Russia, Ukraine Gas Spat

Law360, New York (January 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Commission will not mediate in a dispute that has threatened Europe's entire gas transit system since New Year's Day, when Russia curbed part of its gas shipments to Europe through Ukraine, accusing the country of stealing gas and not paying its bills.
