Antitrust Counterclaims V. Alaska Airlines Tossed

Law360 (January 7, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A travel agency that responded to Alaska Airlines Inc.'s fraud suit against it by filing counterclaims accusing the airline of attempting to drive the agency out of business has had the counterclaims tossed by a federal judge.

Judge Ronald B. Leighton of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on Monday granted Alaska Airlines' motion to have the proposed class action counterclaims by Carey Travel Inc. proprietors Bradley and Celeste Carey dismissed with prejudice.
