Pesticides Not Exempt From CWA Permits: 6th Circ.

Law360 (January 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- To the dismay of industry groups and regulators, a federal appeals court Tuesday ruled that pesticides are not exempt from the Clean Water Act's permitting program, vacating a 2007 federal rule that lifted long-standing permitting requirements for pesticide discharges.
