2nd TARP Installment Up To Obama: Paulson

Law360, New York (January 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson has said he won't ask Congress to release the second installment of the $700 billion bailout before the Obama administration takes the helm.

Answering questions after a speech at the Economic Club of Washington on Wednesday, Paulson said that he will leave it to the new president to decide when and how to tap into the remaining $350 billion.
