CSX Gets Access To Medical Records In FMLA Suit

Law360 (January 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Workers at CSX Transportation Inc. who are suing the railroad company for violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act have lost a bid to keep their medical records private.

Magistrate Judge Howard Snyder of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida issued an order Wednesday denying the employees' request for a protective order to block access to the records by CSX, saying their motion was filed too late.
