Kirkland Nonequity Partners Shown The Door: Report

Law360, New York (January 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Kirkland & Ellis LLP has reportedly asked some of its Chicago-based nonequity partners to leave the firm within six months.

The news was posted Wednesday on the legal tabloid Above the Law. Kirkland & Ellis did not respond to a request for comments on Thursday.

Somewhere between 15 and 25 partners were asked to leave from the firm’s litigation and corporate practices, according to the post on Above the Law.
