Groups Cry Foul Over Syncrude Role In Duck Deaths

Law360, New York (January 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- With the support of several environmental groups, an Alberta man has made a bid to prosecute Syncrude Canada Ltd. for a 2008 incident that led to the death of 500 ducks on a pond used to hold the residue from extracting bitumen from western Canada's oil sands.
