FERC Settles With 7 Gas Cos. Over Improper Bidding

Law360, New York (January 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has reached consent agreements with four gas companies after an investigation into alleged fraudulent conduct in bidding for use of a gas pipeline in 2007, and the agency ordered two other companies to show cause why they should not be penalized for fraud.
