Judge Slams 'Boilerplate' Prempro Claims

Law360 (January 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has issued a stinging rebuke over the “generic” nature of one complaint in the massive multidistrict litigation over Prempro and related hormone-replacement drugs, saying the plaintiffs' failure to provide specific details is representative of the “boilerplate language” of other claims that have been filed against Wyeth Pharmaceuticals Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., Pfizer Inc. and other drugmakers.
