Green Groups Sue EPA Over Farm Exemption

Law360 (January 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A coalition of environmental groups including Sierra Club and The Humane Society of the United States has lobbed a lawsuit at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in a bid to challenge a last-minute Bush administration rule that exempts factory farms from federal laws requiring them to alert government officials when they release hazardous substances from animal waste into the air.
