SEC Slaps Medical Supply Cos., CEO With Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (January 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has launched a lawsuit against two related Florida medical supply companies, accusing their CEO of fraud in connection with the raising of $11 million and the sale of unregistered securities.

The lawsuit, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, names BarrierMed Inc., BarrierMed Glove Co., and the companies' founder and CEO, Victor J. Ragucci, as defendants.
