Syntax-Brillian Files Ch. 11 Liquidation Plan

Law360 (January 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Fizzling television manufacturer Syntax-Brillian Corp. has filed its Chapter 11 plan of liquidation, seeking the consolidation of the debtors’ estates as well as the creation of a liquidation trust and a lender trust for various creditors.

In a filing Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the debtors asked the holders of prepetition credit facility claims and general unsecured claims to approve the plan of liquidation, which calls for the cancellation of all the debtors’ equity interest.
