Obama May Sign Early Order To Up Fuel Efficiency

Law360, New York (January 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- President Barack Obama may be considering signing an executive order soon raising fuel efficiency standards on all vehicles, a move that the Bush administration earlier this month said it would leave for the incoming commander in chief to handle.

An executive order targeting fuel efficiency for automobiles was one of many possible early executive orders being contemplated by Obama, CNN reported Wednesday.
