Barber Foods Recalls Stuffed Chicken

Law360, New York (January 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Barber Foods Co. has issued a recall for thousands of pounds of frozen stuffed chicken products out of a concern that they may contain foreign materials.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture said Tuesday that the Portland, Maine-based company decided to call back about 6,050 pounds of its Market Day and Distinctions chicken products after receiving a consumer complaint about discovering a plastic piece in a Market Day product.
