Law360, New York (September 19, 2016, 1:26 PM EDT) -- At its 2016 annual meeting this past July, the Uniform Law Commission (ULC) gave final approval to the Uniform Wage Garnishment Act (UWGA). The UWGA is the product of a two-year study followed by another two years of drafting. Efforts to gain enactment in the states will begin with the 2017 legislative sessions.
