Federal Circuit Denies Rehearing In Soitec, CEA Suit Vs. SiGen

Law360 (January 26, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has denied a petition for a rehearing from French chip equipment maker Soitec and the French research organization CEA (Atomic Energy Commission) to overturn the jury verdict that invalidated the major claims of Soitec's primary "Smart-Cut” patent.
