Solutions For Auto Industry On Obama's Agenda

Law360, New York (January 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- President Barack Obama will reportedly consider what to do with the flailing U.S. auto industry after the automakers submit viability plans in the middle of next month.

Reuters News reported that White House spokesman Robert Gibbs was asked about the viability of the automakers Friday. “Obviously those are issues that this administration will be involved in,” Gibbs said.

Once the auto companies submit viability plans in the middle of February, “we'll have a better sense of how to evaluate all that,” Gibbs said, according to Reuters....
