Chamberlain Hrdlicka Adds Ex-DOJ Tax Prosecutor In Philly
By Dan Packel (September 26, 2016, 2:55 PM EDT) -- Chamberlain Hrdlicka announced Monday that it added a former federal tax prosecutor who focused on litigating offshore banking cases to its Philadelphia office as senior counsel.
Kevin F. Sweeney officially joined the Texas-based firm in August. He had previously worked as a trial attorney for the tax division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he started in 2010.
Sweeney said his transition to the private sector followed the DOJ's move to close out its Swiss Bank Program, shifting its focus from the institutions to the account holders themselves.
