Company Takes Aim At Amazon’s “One Click” Patent

Law360, New York (August 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Internet security company Cordance Corp. may only have six employees, but the company is not afraid to take on industry giants. The tiny company has set its sights on Amazon.com, alleging that the online retailer’s “One Click” feature infringes a Cordance patent.

In the suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, Washington-based Cordance alleges that Amazon has infringed its patent covering “object-based online transaction infrastructure.”
