USPTO Enters Final Judgment Favoring Geron In Cloning Dispute

Law360, New York (January 27, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued a final judgment in favor of Geron in the patent interference proceeding between Geron and Infigen over claims to nuclear transfer technology used to clone animals, Geron said Tuesday.

The Board awarded judgment in Geron's favor on all counts in the interference.
