Nearly 250 Mirapex Plaintiffs Settle In MDL

Law360 (January 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Nearly 250 plaintiffs who sued Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Pfizer Inc. alleging that Parkinson's drug Mirapex caused compulsive gambling have settled their cases, according to an attorney for the plaintiffs.

All plaintiffs represented in the multidistrict litigation by Robins Kaplan Miller & Ceresi LLP have settled, the attorney said, including one plaintiff who won an $8.2 million jury verdict in August. Robins Kaplan represented a large portion of the plaintiffs in the case.
