Judge Issues Summary Judgment Vs. Microsoft In Printer Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 28, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- An Arizona judge has issued a summary judgment against Microsoft Corp. in a patent infringement lawsuit over display and printing technology patents, paving the way for a jury trial that could lead to damages worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

On Tuesday, Senior U.S. District Judge William Browning of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona granted a request for summary judgment by Research Corporation Technologies Inc. (RCT), based in Tucson, Arizona.
