Judge Keeps Copyright Case Against Prudential Alive

Law360, New York (February 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to dismiss a copyright infringement lawsuit accusing Prudential Insurance Co. of America of copying the marketing materials of a small Pennsylvania financial services organization.

Judge Gene K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Friday preserved the claims of Lighthouse Strategic Projects Group Inc. for copyright infringement, breach of contract and unfair competition against the insurance giant.
