Baker Donelson, Ober Kaler Merge To Create 800-Lawyer Firm

Law360, New York (October 31, 2016, 6:37 PM EDT) -- Law firms Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz PC and Ober Kaler will join forces, expanding their capabilities in multiple practice areas, including healthcare, the law firms announced on Monday.

The move will create a comprehensive healthcare practice, combining Ober Kaler's regulatory and reimbursement work for for profit health systems with Baker Donelson's representation of non-profit organizations and in transactional matters. The combination will allow the firms to expand their reach in other practice areas as well, including financial services, construction and tax.
