NuChrome Hit With Slew Of Hazardous Waste Claims

Law360, New York (February 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Federal agencies have sued chrome replater NuChrome Inc. for repeatedly violating hazardous waste management laws by allegedly generating and improperly storing hazardous waste products, including chromium, nickel and copper sludges, and corrosive and cyanide process wastewaters.

The U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency lodged the 15-count complaint Monday against Massachusetts-based NuChrome and company President Donald Kemp in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
