Magnet Co. Gets $5.5M Fine For Toys With Recalled Parts

Law360, New York (December 1, 2016, 6:19 PM EST) -- A Colorado federal judge has slapped Zen Magnets LLC with a $5.5 million fine for illegally selling magnets that had already been recalled by another company, the Justice Department announced Thursday.

Most of that fine, however, was suspended because of the Colorado-based company’s inability to pay the penalty.
