Shell Asks To Join Dispute Over Oil Shale Rules

Law360, New York (February 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Shell Frontier Oil & Gas Inc. is looking to have a say as a defendant in a lawsuit brought by conservation groups challenging the Bush administration’s rules aiming to spur oil shale development because of a concern that the fossil fuel could threaten water resources and wildlife in Colorado and other Western states.
