EPA Tells Mich. To Review NMU Boiler Permit

Law360, New York (February 20, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appeals board of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has told Michigan's environmental regulator to reconsider its decision to issue a permit for a new boiler at a Northern Michigan University heating plant that the Sierra Club argues would depend too heavily on coal as a power source.
