Ritz Camera Files For Ch. 11

Law360, New York (February 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Specialty camera chain Ritz Camera Centers Inc. filed for Chapter 11 Monday, citing a sharp decline in sales as a result of the economic crisis coupled with consumers’ move to digital photography.

Family-owned Ritz Camera filed its Chapter 11 petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
